Diodes Incorporated expands its sensor portfolio with the introduction of the AH396x, a high-voltage dual Hall effect sensor designed for applications demanding accurate speed and direction sensing. This versatile sensor caters to a wide range of applications with its superior performance, robust protection features, and compact package.
The lineup includes the AH3965/66/67 models, featuring specialized outputs for speed and direction that incorporate chopper-stabilized frameworks and an internal bandgap regulator to ensure temperature-stabilized supply for its circuits. The AH3968 model stands apart with two separate outputs provided via Q1 and Q2.
To enhance durability and ensure safety, these devices are equipped with a reverse blocking diode alongside a Zener clamp on the input voltage. Moreover, an undervoltage lockout feature safeguards the IC, halting its operations to avert inaccurate magnetic readings should the supply voltage drop excessively.
These sensors are enclosed within the ubiquitous TSOT25 (Type A1) packaging, aligning with industry standards.
